Elon Musk has been billed as a real-life Tony Stark (AKA Marvels Ironman) and for good reason, Mr. Musk seems to be a very very busy man of late. When he’s not building giant tunnels underneath cities, he’s developing new cars for his car company, Tesla.
Musk recently unveiled the brand new Tesla Roadster. The sports car comes with a 200kWh battery pack that will allow the car to travel from LA to San Francisco, without a recharge, according to Musk. The car has reportedly topped speeds of over 250 mph and can go from 0-60 in just two seconds.
Tesla also debuted their new electric Semi Truck this futuristic-looking truck can reportedly go from 0-60 mph in 20 seconds and has a range of about 500 miles on a single charge. Tesla also has plans to install charging stations along trucking routes that will provide the trucks with 400 miles of range in half-an-hour.
The Roadster will retail at $200,000 USD. A price hasn’t been set for the semi truck yet.
