Of the 50 million skateboarders in the world, only 20 of them live in Yangon, Myanmar. The group is small but it is passionate and growing steadily. That was until their only skatepark was torn down in 2011. Now skaters must make due with broken benches, makeshift plywood ramps and a dilapidated concrete park in the next closest city of Naypyidaw. In 2012, filmmakers Ali Drummond and James Holman traveled to Myanmar to learn about the struggle, skill, and commitment of young skateboarders in the â€˜Youth of Yangonâ€™.
